Sadie Amara Calvano was born in America. Her most famous role is recognized for her character of Violet Plunkett from the CBS show 'Mom.' An California born, Calvano was initially interested in gymnastics competition. Later, however, Calvano determined to pursue acting as a profession. In a CBS"NCIS," the show "NCIS" her debut came in 2010. The biographical crime thriller movie J Edgar was her big screen debut one year later. She was one of the top young actors in the industry over the next few decades. Her performance as 'NCIS, which was nominated for the Young Artist Award 2011 for the best performance of a television Series with the appearance of a Guest Actress between the ages of 11-15. In 2013, in recognition of the role of a guest on Disney XD's "Kickin' it' comedy series and received a second nomination for the Young Artist Award. Calvano was part of the cast of Mom throughout its first three years and appeared on several occasions in the fourth. In 2015, she received the Gracie Allen Award of Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star for her appearance in Mom.
