Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell (born on 25th August 1949) is an American TV chef personality. Burrell was also an instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education. She's the host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network and the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, a Food Network host with spiky blond wigs and a pumped-up appearance, shares tips on how to prepare restaurant-style meals at home, using easy methods. The chef Burrell is also an experienced chef of New York City's best restaurants. She also has studied Italy's culinary tradition and its culture as well as the geography. Burrell is a native of the Upstate and grew up living in New York State's Upstate, began to develop a passion for cooking. Following her graduation with an English and Communications degree from Canisius College in Buffalo NY she was able to pursue her love of the business of restaurant by enroling at The Culinary Institute of America. The Culinary Institute of America is where I spent my most memorable time in my life. It was difficult to master and do enough or put in the hours. Following graduation of the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners, Chef Burrell took a full year in Italy studying and working at La Taverna del Lupo restaurant in Umbria as well La Bottega del 30 one Michelin rating in Tuscany. While in Italy she gained a profound appreciation and understanding of Italian food and culture. It is a huge influence on how Burrell approaches her cuisine. Burrell has served on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which brightens children living with obstacles and is also a Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation celebrity ambassador. she advocates for juvenile diabetes awareness. She frequently travels around the nation in her capacity as both a mentor and guest speaker where she discusses her career and love of cooking. Anne, throughout her entire culinary journey has stated that it's an honor to be in a position to share her passion for the food industry with people.
